Hi everyone !
Just wanted to take a moment to thank everyone in the animal genomics
community for the engaging and productive interactions since I started in
the field in 1992. Great collaborators and stimulating interactions have
made working life a pleasure. I decided to accept the latest buyout offer
from USDA and my last day of official work is today.
I will continue with some science activities but on a reduced schedule and
without USDA resources, at least until retirement date on September 30 when
I plan to file for "volunteer" status that might regain some access to
compute capacity.
