    Animals:Animals were crosses of the following breeds: Landrace, Large White, and Pietrain.
     Breeds associated:

    Design:A commercial four-way cross was used to develop hybrid sow and boar lines. Offspring were genotyped for 198 microsatellite markers, and phenotypes for 31 growth, carcass composition, and meat quality traits were measured.
    Analysis:Mapping was performed using a rank-based nonparametric approach for half-sib designs.
