From Joan.Lunney@ARS.USDA.GOV Wed Nov 4 22:15:15 2009 From: "Lunney, Joan" Postmaster: Processed by the Listmaster To: Multiple Recipients of Subject: 2010 International Symposium on Animal Genomics for Animal Health - 1st Announcement Date: Wed, 04 Nov 2009 22:15:15 -0600 Dear colleagues, We will be hosting the 2nd International Symposium on Animal Genomics for Animal Health (AGAH 2), at the "Maison de la Chimie," Paris, France, 31 May - 2 June 2010 Your participation in the 1st International Symposium on Animal Genomics for Animal Health (http://www.ars.usda.gov/meetings/AGAH2007/) was critical to the success of this conference and we sincerely hope you will be able to participate and help us continue to build on what was achieved in Paris, November 2007. The 1st conference was very successful with 253 participants from 35 countries representing 136 public and private organizations, and with your help we hope to make this 2nd conference even more successful. Our primary goals for this second conference will be to identify what has been accomplished in the field of animal genomics in last three years and continue to build the momentum for animal genomics and its many applications in animal health. We believe this conference will continue to be the definitive meeting on this issue and the symposium outcomes will provide science-based guidance for funding institutions and policy makers. Registration and submission of abstracts will begin January 1, 2010, and can be submitted directly on the AGAH 2 website. Further information and programme will be updated there. https://colloque.inra.fr/agah2010 We hope to see you in Paris in 2010. Best regards, Marie-Helene Pinard-van der Laan (INRA) (marie-helene.pinard@jouy.inra.fr) and Cyril Gerard Gay (ARS-USDA) (cyril.gay@ars.usda.gov)
