The project will involve the development of web based bioinformatic tool for the analysis of gene expression data and the functional analysis of farm animal genomes. Ideal candidates: B.Sc. (2.1-1st) or cognate M.Sc. with a background in molecular biology or statistics together with demonstrable skills in bioinformatic and or/computer programming. Salary: €21,000 p.a. (tax exempt) + fees. The person appointed will be based at NUI,Galway and Teagasc, Athenry, Co. Galway for the duration of the award.
