One will need to register in order to enter his/her own data: http://www.animalgenome.org/QTLdb/app.html The benefits being a QTLdb curator are: (1) You can enter or update your data at any time; (2) You may wish to keep your data "private" or "public"; (3) You can take advantages of QTLdb's internal comparative viewer to exam your data against other public data as a study tool. o The PigQTLdb has evolved into an "Animal QTLdb" which has its preliminary release at http://www.animalgenome.org/QTLdb/. This release contains more pig data, and with newly added cattle and chicken data as well. o New features has been added to the GO Classifications Counter. Now users can upload their own classifications as a counting guide, and have options to count either single occurrences or all occurrences. http://www.animalgenome.org/bioinfo/tools/countgo/ o The NAGRP Bioinformatics FTP site has been moved from the old http://db.genome.iastate.edu/ftp/share/ to a new location at http://www.animalgenome.org/bioinfo/tools/share/ Now the content is served through a HTTP server. o The number of registered members to the Animal Genome Research Community Directory is nearly 1,000. The members represent a wide spectrum of different research fields, subject species, working affiliations and countries/regions in the world.
