Welcome to Aquaculture Genomics mailing list, a communication channel
for the global aquaculture genomics research community!

The Aquaculture Genomics mailing list is operated on a Majordomo mailing
list management system at the Auburn University.  Majordomo is an 
automated system which allows users to subscribe and unsubscribe to 
mailing lists, and to retrieve files from list archives.

You can interact with the Majordomo software by sending it commands
in the body of mail messages addressed to

        Majordomo@ACESAg.Auburn.EDU

Please do not put your commands on the subject line; Majordomo does
not process commands in the subject line.


I. HANDLE SUBSCRIPTIONS:

To subscribe to the Aquaculture Genomics mailing list (to receive list 
mails), you'd put in the mail message body:

        subscribe aquaculturegenomics
Or:     subscribe demo-list user@domain.com
if you wish to have the mailings go to a different address.     

The subscribed address will receive a confirmation mail from the list
directing the user to send a command found in that message back to
Majordomo@ACESAg.Auburn.EDU. 

To unsubscribe from the list, put:

        unsubscribe aquaculturegenomics
Or:     unsubscribe aquaculturegenomics user@domain.com
if you wish to unsubscribe a different address.


II. RETRIEVING FILES FROM THE LIST ARCHIVE

To find out if a list has any files associated with it, use this command:

        index aquaculturegenomics

If you see files in which you're interested, you can retrieve them by
using the "get" command and specifying the filename:

        get aquaculturegenomics file_name


III. GETTING MORE HELP

To contact a human list manager, send mail to

        aquaculturegenomics-approval@ACESAg.Auburn.EDU


In summary, the list understands the following commands:

    subscribe aquaculturegenomics [<address>]
        Subscribe yourself (or <address> if specified) to the named
        'aquaculturegenomics'.
        
    unsubscribe aquaculturegenomics [<address>]
        Unsubscribe yourself (or <address> if specified) from the named
       'aquaculturegenomics' "unsubscribe *" will remove you (or <address>)
        from all lists.  This _may not_ work if you have subscribed using
        multiple addresses.


    get aquaculturegenomics <filename>
        Get a file related to 'aquaculturegenomics'


    index aquaculturegenomics
        Return an index of files you can "get" for 'aquaculturegenomics'


    which [<address>]
        Find out which lists you (or <address> if specified) are on.


    who aquaculturegenomics
        Find out who is on the named 'aquaculturegenomics'.


    info aquaculturegenomics
        Retrieve the general introductory information for the named
       'aquaculturegenomics'.


    intro aquaculturegenomics
        Retrieve the introductory message sent to new users.
        Non-subscribers may not be able to retrieve this.


    lists
        Show the lists served by this Majordomo server.


    help
        Retrieve this message.


    end
        Stop processing commands (useful if your mailer adds a signature).


Again, all commands should be sent in the body of an email message to
"Majordomo@ACESAg.Auburn.EDU". Multiple commands can be processed as long
as they each occurs on a separate line.
